Three Lives That God Offers Freely

Eddie Billmeyer
April 7, 2007

PHYSICAL LIFE - SPIRITUAL LIFE - EVERLASTING (Eternal) LIFE

There are three lives that God the Father has/or will offer to each one of us. They are; Physical Life which is our fleshly birth, through our mothers and fathers of which we had no control. The other two will be Spiritual Life to be born again into God’s family and the gift of Everlasting Life (Without End), these two we most definitely as individuals have a decision to make, to either accept God’s offer or to reject God’s offer. God will not make the decision for us, rejection has penalty, it is all ours to make, so read with care! Both Spiritual life and Everlasting life are to be a continuation to this Physical life of ours, so if you only have Physical life, you have added only one third to your life that our Lord has planed for all of us to have. All three lives have been offered to man whether they like it or not by God the Father from the very beginning of time, you will see this for yourselves as you go through this letter. Remember; "God is faithful, not willing that any of us should perish!"

--------------------------------------------------

PHYSICAL LIFE -BORN OF THE FLESH

Born into this world

When we were born into this world, we had no control over who would be our mother or father. We had absolutely no control over our berth. Had no control if we would be a girl or a boy. Had no control over what country we would be born in. Had no control over what race of people we would be placed with. Had no control over what language we would speak. We had no control over as what would become of our life, if we would live or die, or someone would take our life from us before the time of birth. You tell me if God had anything to do with our life before we were born? You tell me if God did not place on our mother’s and father’s together as one the importance on their part in the raising of their children?

So here we are as a baby with no control over what is to happen to us or around us. We are totally unable to care for ourselves. We are going to be in our parents (mother and father) care longer then any other living creatures on the face of this earth. Our Lord has seen to this, do not dismiss this fact ever from your thoughts, they have been added to our lives by God, this is because we could not fully care for ourselves in any way, so much is to be learned and added to our childhood. From birth to eighteen years of age or when we leave home, our parents are to provide, care, love, and look out for us while we are growing into adulthood. Honor your parents, think of what they add to your life and while you are being thankful, thank your heavenly Father also for all He has done for you!

  • Children, obey your parents in all things, for this is pleasing to the Lord Colossians 3:20
  • Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise: that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth. Ephesians 6:1
  • Honor your father and mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you in the land which the Lord your God has given you. Deuteronomy 5:16 (This is the first commandment that God gave to the children of Israel, and is one of the ten commandments.)
  • "You (children of Israel) shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time." Deuteronomy 4:40

From birth to five years of age, I am told a baby learns more then they will learn in the rest of their life. Again I am told that the age of accountability for a child can be between six to nine years of aged, all depends on the child. As we grow, from birth to at least twenty-one, we are growing in body, and mind. We have a lot of learning to do. From that age of twenty-one and on we should be able to think and provide for ourselves without our parent doing it for us. What we make of our lives is now in our hands. In my days it was; "Sink or swim!" What does that mean? Simple provide and look out for yourself, you are now considered to be a man or a woman. As you can see I left out a lot, but I think you can see what I am trying to give you.

---------------------------------------------

The Human Body

Our human bodies by itself, are fearfully and wonderfully made:

  • The Bone Structure ----, the head - - - -, the neck and backbones - - - -, the chest and it’s bones - - - -, the arms and bones - - - -, the fingers and bones - - - -, the hip bone - - - -, the leg bones and toes bones.
  • The Internal Systems - - - -, the brain system- - - -, the eyes system - - - -, the hearing system - - - -, the heart/blood system ----, the nerve system - - - -, the lung system - - - -, the digestive system - - - -, the reproductive system - - - -.
  • The external make-up - - - -, color of hair, eyes, skin - - - -, voice - - - -, smile - - - -, laughter - - - -, the way one acts or move about, so many little things that can only be you.
  • The spirit and the soul - - - - -, these two control how we act and what we do without which the body is nothing.
  • The Five Senses that are used everyday in ones life - - - - seeing, hearing, smelling, tasting, feeling.

How can anyone, for just one second ever think that this all came along by evaluation? "Man has done nothing compared to the creation of our bodies!" "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness" Genesis 1:26

Did a plane ever assemble itself? Did a car ever assemble itself? Did a pocket-watch ever assemble itself? Can man ever duplicate his own body? Is man greater then his Creator?

I could go on and on how this body of ours has amazed doctors for years. The schooling for a Doctor is much longer then that of a Lawyer, and there are so many more fields of this body that doctors can go into. The human body can be a puzzlement to them, if they do not wish to accept that God created this body in Their image and according to Their likeness. I will not go into all the number of systems that the human body has, that are so amazing and how they all work together for the functioning of just this one body, I will leave that up to our doctors, but I will go into the creation of man and woman from the bible in this letter.

  • The (Holy) Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33:4

Can you say this too with Job? That God has made you and the breath of the Almighty has given you this Life to live!

------------------------------------------

The BODY that contains a SOUL and a SPIRIT

When God created the body of man from the dust of this earth. He also gave to man a spirit and a soul, both of these belong to the creator and will in time give an account to Him. With the spirit, man has fellowship with God, the spirit of man was given to man by God for this purpose. The soul in man will give an account to God of the deeds done in the flesh.

We need to understand that we do consist of a body, a soul, and a spirit. These three are the main parts of the body that will be covered in this letter.

  • The body is our outward physical nature.
  • The soul our inner person; intelligence, controlling outward reactions, is our inward nature.
  • The spirit, our inner spirit; thinking, motivation, and sensitivity, is our spiritual nature

We are the only ones of God’s living creatures, able to have fellowship with God and our fellow person because of our spirit that is with- in us!

May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless

Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 5:23

Fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28

WHO do you Believe In?

Do you believe in yourself? Maybe you believe in a close friend? Maybe you believe in a book you have read? All these are outsiders to what God wants you to believe in. Yes even if you believe only in yourself, you and I are outsiders. In the sight of God we are all outsiders. Have you ever thought of taking God at His word and proving what He has written? Can this be done? Try it and find out? You will be surprise what God can do for just for you and me. "You may even come to believe in the Son of God and your soul may some day even greatly rejoice in God your Savior!"

----------------------------------------

The first Man and the first Woman

Adam and Eve

Most people feel that Adam and Eve is only a story, and what took place in the Garden of Eden never really happened. They strongly feel all of us could not have come from just these two people.

  • Our Creator has told us that our beginning started with Adam and Eve,

I don’t believe God lied to us, we are known to God as "Adam’s family!"

  • God created Adam and Eve both with a complete body,

But they did not become a living soul until God gave them the breath of life!

  • Adam and Eve were not born of a mother and father,

God said He created them, male and female, do you really think that God lied?

-------------------------------------------

Physical Life – Born OF THE FLESH

In order to understand how our physical life started,

There is the need to thoroughly examine Genesis chapters 1-3.

The Creator of our body told us, He created us from this earth, from the very dirt that we walk on and that when we die, we will return to it.

We all belong to the Creator, it does not matter if we are saved or unsaved, we are all His creation.

What we do in this life He holds us responsible and we all will answer to Him.

In Him is life, without Him there is no life. He made it so we would and could be born of the flesh!

  • He (God) created them male (ADAM) and female (EVE), and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created. Genesis 5:2
  • "That which is born of the flesh is flesh" (that is us) - - - - John 3:6

----------------------------------------------------

SPIRITUAL LIFE - BORN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

This has to do with the spirit of man. This is the rebirth (born again) of the spirit in man.

The spirit in Adam and Eve never died when they were disobedient to God.

The spirit of man became contaminated, polluted, because of sin.

God hates sin that is why Adam and Eve were driven from the presents of God.

Adam was the first man that God created to walked on this planet earth.

Adam and Eve were made from the dust of this earth.

From Adam and Eve came the human race.

When Adam and Eve disobeyed God the whole human race after them became sinners.

The human tree of man fell from God’s grace because sin,

All have sinned and come short of the glory of God, there is none good no not one.

Sin had entered into the soul of man and from sin came the time period of physical death.

It is appointed unto man once to die and then come before the Judgment-Seat of God.

We must all stand before God and give an account of our life that we have lived in this flesh.

Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin,

We all need to be and can be saved by the Savior, Christ the Lord!

  • The Lord commanded the man, saying; "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat";

"But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat,

For in the day that you do eat of it you shall surely die." Genesis 2:16 & 17

Adam and Eve were cut off from having direct physical fellowship with God,

This is called spiritual death,

Sin had entered into their souls (life) and they knew what the results would be.

All of us need to turn from sin to God.

The Holy Spirit of God will help us to do this.

When we accept the Holy Spirit into our lives,

The Holy Spirit allowed our spirit to once again become alive to God the Father and His Son.

We become very conscience of the Father and Son in our lives.

We have fellowship (communion) with our heaven Father through prayer,

The reading of His Word, and daily meditation of His Word.

We have fellowship (communion) with other Christians

By allowing them to become a part of our lives, by talking to them,

By walking with them, and to become a part of their lives.

The life in which we live in this body becomes so much fuller

Because we have done what our Creator has asked us to do,

  • And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up.

That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:14-16

  • He who believes in the Son has everlasting life;

And he does not believe the Son shall not see life,

But the wrath of God abides on him. John 3: 36

  • Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life. John 6:47
  • "He (the Holy Spirit) will convict the world (mankind)

Of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

Of righteousness, because I go to my Father and you see Me no more;

Of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. John 16:8-10

  • If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins

And to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

  • "That which is born of the (Holy) Spirit is spirit (man’s spirit)" - - - - John 3:6.

There is the renewing of man’s inner spirit, the spiritual rebirth of his spirit.

  • It is the (Holy) Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing.

The words I speak to you are spirit (for man’s spirit), and they are life. John 6:63

  • The (Holy) Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God - - - Romans 8:16

----------------------------------------------

EVERLASTING LIFE (without end) - ETERNAL LIFE (time without end)

"GIFT FROM GOD"

Has to do with the inner persons soul, which is in man.

Everlasting life is the promise from God given to all souls while still in this sinful body,

That have accept Jesus Christ the Son of God as their Lord and Savior,

When they ask the Lord to forgive them of their sins.

This Everlasting life that is given to your soul will never be taken from you.

God the Father is not an Indian giver. It is a gift from God the Father,

Not because any of us have earned it, but because we have believed,

And have put our faith, hope, and trust in His only begotten Son.

Eternal life to have a glorified sinless body and to ever be with our Lord.

  • For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves;

It is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2: 8-9

THE SOULS OF MEN

  • Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine;

The soul who sins shall die. Ezekiel 18:4

  • Do not fear those who will kill the body but cannot kill the soul,

But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28

  • Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me,

Hope in God; for I shall yet praise Him, the help of my countenance and my God.

Psalm 42:11

  • - - - - -"But of those who believe to the saving of the soul. Hebrews 10:39
  • "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul,

With all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself." Luke 10:27

  • With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before the High God?

Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?

Will the Lord be pleased with thousand of rams or ten thousand rivers of oil?

Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

Micah 6:6-7

Salvation is offered by God to the soul of man

  • For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,

For it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes,

For the Jew first and also the Greek.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,

"The just shall live by faith." Romans 1:16-17

Peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ

  • Therefore, having been justified by faith,

WE HAVE Peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand,

And rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2

God has given the believer eternal life, this life is in His Son

  • And this is the promise that He has promised us ----- "eternal life". 1 John 2:25
  • And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

1 John 5:11-12

THE SON OF GOD (JESUS CHRIST –

BORN OF GOD –

CHILDREN OF GOD

  • "And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." Matthew 3:17

For without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5

I am the bread of Life He that comes to Me shall never hunger

I am the light of the world He that believes in Me shall never thirst

I am the door of the sheep He that follows Me shall not walk in darkness

I am the door If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved

I am the resurrection No one comes to the Father except through Me

I am the way He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit

I am the true vine For without Me you can do nothing

To be born of God

  • "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right (power) to become children of God,

To those who believe in His name.

Who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God"

John 1:11-13

Who were born = Not of blood – Husband and wife relationship

Who were born = Not of the will of the flesh – Out of wedlock

Who were born = Not of the will of man – By Artificial Insemination –

By Test Tube Baby – By Body Cloning

"But born of God" = Through the Holy Spirit - This is Eternal/Everlasting Life!

To be a child of God

Just think - A child of God - Joint heirs with God - A member of the "family of God!"

Wouldn’t you like to see the Creator Himself? And when you die to have your spirit carried into heaven? And to stand along with "all the redeemed of the Lord?"

  • And they stoned Stephen as he was calling on God and saying, "Lord Jesus, receive my spirit."

Then he knelt down and cried out with a loud voice, "Lord do not charge them with this sin."

And when he had said this, he fell asleep. Acts 7:59-60

Believe in the Son / Have everlasting life / Raised up in the last days

  • This is the will of the Father, who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, But should raise it (them) up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me,

That everyone who see the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life;

And I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:38-39

The Word of the Lord Lives / Abodes / Endures forever

  • Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the (Holy) Spirit

In sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible,

Through the word of God which lives and abodes forever, - - - 1 Peter 1:22-23

  • All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.

The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the word of the Lord endures forever.

1 Peter 1:24-25

Into this letter

"Rightly Dividing The Word"

The Bible is the word of God. It reveals the Person, character and work of the Creator. It makes known His eternal purpose in creating the heavens and earth and all living beings. It records the history of man: his original innocence and fall from innocence, and it outlines the different ages of God’s dealing with him – both presently, in the past, and in the future. The Bible unfolds God’s plan for man’s redemption from the fall, the price He paid to accomplish it, and the blessed future of those who receive it. It also tells the fate of hard-hearted rebels who reject their Creator – Redeemer’s love. It sufficiently supplies our need for knowledge of God, and is an adequate chart, compass and guide for us in the life that now is, and in things eternal. Maurice Johnson

THE BIBLE is the Word of God

  • It reveals the Person, character, and work of the Creator
  • It makes known His eternal purpose in creating heaven, earth, all living beings
  • It records the history of man
  • His original innocence
  • His fall from this innocence
  • It outlines the different ages of God dealing with him –
  • Both presently, in the past, and in the future
  • Unfolds God’s plan for man’s redemption from the fall
  • The price He paid to accomplish it
  • The blessed future of those who receive it.
  • The fate of hard-hearted rebels who reject their Creator - "Redeemer’s Love."
  • The bible sufficiently supplies our need for knowledge of God
  • An adequate chart – compass – to guide for us in this life and in things eternal

Maurice Johnson

Does God LOVE Mankind? That was the question that was most asked of me while I was a Christian working in the world of industry. After you have read this letter, you answer that question for yourselves!

HEAVEN – EARTH - MANKIND

EARTH one planet in our Universe

In the beginning - - - Yes there was a beginning - - - A beginning of all things visible and invisible- - -

  • In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
  • Earth was without form and void, darkness was on the face of the deep.

("No light on the earth!")

  • The Spirit of God was part of creation. He hovered over the waters that covered the earth. ("Earth is covered with water!")
  • God divided the light from the darkness. The light He called day, the darkness He called night Please note again that God Divided the light form darkness! This is very important to see and understand! When you look up into the sky at night, the heavens are dark accept for the stars, take away the stars, and nothing but darkness!

("We now have light by day and light by night!")

  • The waters on the earth were divided - - - We have water (clouds) in the heavens and water on the earth! ("We have fresh water in the heaven and fresh water on the earth!" No salt water at this time! Our Planet is known as the "Water Planet")
  • All the waters under heaven (on earth) are gathered into one place!" "The dry land appears!" (We have "All the waters (Sea) on earth in one place" and "The dry land (Earth) appears!" "We have all the dry land in one place". By the way – God called the waters Seas and the dry land Earth, not man! If all the waters are in one place and all the land is in one place, you got it! "The land at this time is not divided!")
  • The earth (fertile ground) is to bring forth grass, herbs, fruit trees, all able to produce seed in itself! ("The earth is able to provide for grass, herbs, fruit trees, etc. No other Planets in our universe has such capabilities!")
  • The lights (Stars) in heaven are to divide the day from the night. The Stars are to be used for signs, seasons, days, and years! And also to give light on the earth! Stars to divide day from night - - - Stars to give to the human race what is needed to tell Universal time - - -

("Stars are giving to us daily the beautiful sights of heaven!")

  • The Moon a lesser light to shine at night - - - The Sun the greater light to shine during the day - - - ("The Sun, the Moon, and Stars are altogether giving us light here on the earth!")
  • The seas abound with living creatures after their kind- - -"The seas are filled with living creatures!" (What other planet has this? Where else but on earth!)
  • The sky filled with Birds after their kind - - - "All kinds of birds are flying in the sky!"
  • (Do you know of any other place then earth?)
  • The earth filled with living creatures; cattle, creeping things, beast of the earth all after their kind, - - - ("All kinds of living creatures are on the earth!" Earth created for living creatures)

Genesis 1:1-25

Let’s see what do we have?

Heaven: Stars–Moon and Sun giving light to the earth - Water in Clouds above the earth!

Earth: Added to earth that was not here! Day and Night – Water on the earth (Earth becomes a WATER Planet) – Dry Land - Grass - Herbs - Fruit Trees –– Seas filled with living creatures – Sky filled with birds – Earth filled with living creatures. Earth is a total Garden of Eden, no other planet in our universe contains such life as our earth, an Oases in Outer Space, beautiful created for our eyes and soul to behold! Nothing like it in outer space! Come on, look around you what do you see?

What the Lord God created in the beginning still reproducing seed today

All this is still going on all around us! The sun, moon, stars are still giving us light by day and by night.

  • The fruit trees are still bearing fresh fruit with new seeds.
  • We are given daily herbs for our meals with new seed always coming.
  • Sea creatures reproducing with new seed after their kind.
  • Beautiful birds reproducing with new seed after their kind.
  • Animals and beast of the field reproducing with new seed after their kind.
  • Man and woman reproducing with new seed after their kind.
  • When you are eating your breakfast, lunch, or supper, have you ever stop to think that what you are eating came from God? When you bow your heads to pray; "Thank our Father in heaven, for daily giving us our bread!"

These all wait for You;

That You may give them their food in due season.

What You give them they gather in;

You open Your hand, they are filled with good.

You hide Your face, they are troubled;

You take away their breath, they die and return to their dust.

You send forth Your (Holy) Spirit, they are created;

And You renew the face of the earth. Psalm 104:27-30

Remember again, the seed is very important for reproduction of any kind, without the seed no reproduction! Tried and proven, over and over again, time after time! Wise men of today need to keep this in mind when they are disputing what God has created!

"In the beginning

Our Creator created everything in a very orderly fashion, not at all like the Big Bang fashion!" Did you notice too; that these are all the beautiful things that we can see most everyday of our lives! "Wonder at creation if you must and then worship the Creator in adoration!" And just think to be living in an environment that is not at all hostile to living Creatures of every kind! Yes all this happened in the Beginning!

Earth was made for man

Earth has a Magnetic Field that radiates field lines between the north and south poles. From the Sun comes the Solar Wind, which impact earth magnetic field lines. The solar wind causes the magnetic field lines of earth to form a compress, forming a bow around the sunny side of the earth. The magnetic field lines on the dark side of earth stream from earth to form the earths Magneto-tail. All of the above is called the Magnetosphere to protect earth (Our Lords Creation) from the solar wind (solar flares) that steam daily from the sun! Did all this just happened by accident? I don’t think so - Within the Magnetosphere, also for the protection of Earth, is the Plasmasphere and the Van Allen belt all for the safety of life!

Mars on the other hand, which is our closes planet to earth, is very hostile to any living creature. It is drier than any place on earth, it is better cold, it has a poisonous atmosphere of carbon dioxide, has no protection from solar wind and cosmic radiation and no ionosphere, but it has oxygen and water which is essential to life, we are told this by Dave Beaty, chief scientist for Mars Exploration Directorate at NASA’s, JPL, La Canada Flintridge.

John Bloom, a professor of physics at Biola University, a private Christian college in La Mirada, said that we are fining conditions that could support life. And if God likes to create, He could create life on Earth, on Mars and elsewhere in the universe.

"God did create life on Earth but did not create life on Mars and I don’t think that He intends too, because He would have done that in the Beginning!"

  • The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament (earth) shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard. Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. Psalm 19:1-4

The heavens declare the glory of God

The firmament shows His handiwork

Day unto day utters speech

Night unto night reveals knowledge

No speech nor language where their voice is not heard

Their line has gone out through all the earth

Their words to the end of the world

Will you try to understand what is being given to mankind by God in these verses?

PHYSICAL LIFE

THE GIVING OF LIFE TO THE FIRST MAN

This PHYSICAL LIFE of OURS

We all understand what the word LIFE means – A living being– One that is alive to what is happening around them – The existence of one that can, will or should make changes not only for themselves but also for others.

OUR LIFE started from one Man and one Woman

Before I begin I must give you this; "Adam is God’s representation for all Mankind", we are all descendents of Adam. Does this shock you? Well read on - - - -

One Man created by God from the dust of this earth,

One woman created from man,

Both given the breath of life by God

Both given a place on earth to enjoy all of Gods creation

Both together to give thanks to God for the many blessings given to them

The first man and woman ever to set foot on this earth, were created by God from the dust (dirt) of this earth. Both Adam and Eve were made from earth into whole complete living beings, young, beautiful, sinless, innocence, perfectly made, and to have spiritual fellowship with God. Man was created from the dust of this planet earth, into a full grown living body in the likeness and image of God. And only God could/did gave to their bodies the breath of life. They did not evolve from nothing to be something that came from outer space.

Man and woman created in the Image/Likeness of God

  • Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; Genesis 1:26
  • God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Genesis 1:27

I do believe that God is telling us; that, "He created Adam and Eve" Three times He said He created them!

  • And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being (soul). Genesis 2:7

God is telling us

"That He created man came from dust of this earth"

"That He is the one that gives man the breath of life to start his life."

"That He is the one that allows man to become a living soul!"

"Without the soul in man, mans life is nothing but dust!"

"That He does hold every mans soul responsible for his conduct in life!"

As you read on you will find out that God knows more about man then we can ever think or dream!

  • All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made, that was made. In Him was LIFE and the life was the light of men. John 1:3-4

God is telling us

"Everything was created through Him and by Him."

"That without Him nothing was created."

"That in Him is Life!"

"This life is the light of men!"

This light is the life of any person, from birth to death,

Their story will be told, as only God can reveal and tell it.

If you want to know about creation go to the Creator Himself,

He has already told us that He was the ONE that created all things.

Man (And Woman) were the greatest of our Creators creations. That the creation of man, is greater than the sun, moon, and stars? Yes! That the creation of man, is greater than sea creatures, birds, cattle, creeping things, beast of the earth? Yes! Man is the only creature that our Creator after He created him and reviewed man said;

"His" creation of man was very good!" "Man was made in the Image and Likeness of God" Genesis 1:31.

You ask how does God show His love for all of mankind?

  • God so loved the world (man) that He gave His only begotten Son (for the sin of man), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

From the start to finish of Creation

He completed what He had started! I would like to say here, does this amuse you? "Don’t forget just who done the Creating!"

  • I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:8
  • I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last - - - Revelation 1:11

All flesh is not the same

Man’s flesh differs from the flesh of beast – flesh of birds – flesh of fish.

  • What you sow is not made alive unless it dies. And what you sow, you do not sow that body that shall be, but mere grain – perhaps wheat or some other grain.
  • But God gives it a body as He pleases and to each seed its own body.
  • All flesh is not the same flesh, but there is one kind of flesh of man,
  • Another flesh of beasts, another of fish, and another of birds.

The body is sown in corruption - - - -*

It (the body) is sown in dishonor - - - -*

It (the body) is sown in weakness - - - -*

It (the body) is sown a natural body - - - -*

The first man Adam became a living being - - - -*

The first man was of the earth - - - -*

As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust - - - -*

And as we have borne the image of the man of dust - - - -*

1 Corinthians 15:36-39, 43-49

*The dashes represent only part of the verse, read the rest of the verses for yourself, "What a change that has/will take place to our earthy bodies!"

When God said

"Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness we come to an understanding that there was more than one person in the Godhead."

When I think of the image of God, I am drawn to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

When I think of the image of man or woman, I am drawn to the body, soul, and spirit!

When I think of the likeness of God, I am drawn to what God would like us to be!

The image of Love" not as the world sees love, but how God wanted love to be manifested!

When looking at love

Remember this is what God wants to see in us!

This is what Love is!

Love is longsuffering,

Love is kind,

-------------------------

This is what Love does not do!

Love does not envy, (Don’t envy others)

Love does not parade itself, (Don’t parade yourself)

Love does not puff itself up, (Don’t puff yourself up)

Love does not behave rudely, (Don’t behave rudely)

Love does not seek its own, (Don’t only seek your own)

Love is not provoked, (Don’t provoke others)

Love thinks no evil, (Don’t think of evil things to do)

Love does not rejoice in iniquity, (Don’t rejoice in any iniquity)

This group is what we all need to improve upon in our everyday lives, which we fail any one of the eight most miserably! I don’t know if you noticed it or not but Love is against all lust of the flesh!

-------------------------

This is what Love does do!

Love rejoices in the truth,

Love bears all things,

Love believes al things,

Love hopes all things,

Love endures all things.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Just to think of the riches of God toward us, His goodness, forbearance, and His longsuffering while we were still sinners, it was His Goodness that leads us to repentance, is not this overwhelming?

The Lord God created one man

And from that one man He created one woman. God called that one man Adam, the one man called the woman Eve

  • Most people today believe that there is no God - - - -
  • Most people today believe that God didn’t create anything - - - -
  • Most people today believe that they do not have to answer to God - - - -
  • Most people today will not say it, but they believe they are a god to themselves - -
  • Most people today believe this is the only life they will live - - - -
  • Most people today believe that this is the life, to eat, drink, and be happy - - - -
  • And the list of what they believe goes on, but what about you, do you believe all they believe too?

Only humans can love

I saw this in the Star News today - - - April 30, 2008

RE "Uncovering the reason for faith in God" by Michael Gerson, March 24: In his commentary about Rev. Timothy Keller’s book, "The Reason for God," Gerson begins by declaring that atheists charge "a non-existent God with crimes against humanity."

My question is: How could a nonexistent God be charged with anything if he doesn’t exist and therefore can’t do anything?

On the other hand, crimes against humanity have been (and continue to be) perpetrated by religious fanatics. And I emphasize the word fanatics.

Humanity has nothing to fear from lukewarm God believers who dutifully go to church on Sundays and are bored to death halfway through the service.

I hope Kellar will forgive us our vanity - - - but he is right when he says: "Skeptics argue that they have the intellectual high ground." At least in the subject of logic, reason and common sense, we certainly do.

"God," Rev. Kellar assures us, "is the only thing that makes sense of what we love."

Does he mean that: 1. An atheist’s love for his family makes no sense? 2. Only religious people can make sense of their love for humanity? 3. An Atheist can make no sense of her love for her country? 4. Only a religious person can love beautiful art, music, and poetry, but an atheist’s heart is too cold and too hard to be moved by such tender expressions?

Rev. Keller is correct when he says "Skeptics argue the universe is an empty, impersonal void - - that life has no meaning or value beyond its material makeup." And that is precisely why we atheist’s feel love and compassion not only for humanity, but also for all sentient beings. Because we do consider the universe to be an empty, impersonal void - - - that life has no meaning or value beyond the here and now.

In short, I believe there is no God or gods for me to love. And there exists no God or gods to love me. Only humans are capable of that tender emotion.

David Quintero of Temple City

Job’s Response to Bildad (and to David Quintero also!)

  • How have you helped him who is without power?
  • How have you saved the arm that has no strength?
  • How have you counseled one who has no wisdom?
  • And how have you declared sound advice to many?
  • To whom have you uttered words?
  • And whose spirit came from you? Job 26:1-4

David as a Christian I will answer your four questions.

  • An atheist’s can love his family and make marriage work with real sense.
  • An atheist’s can know and make real sense of their love for humanity.
  • An atheist’s can have love for her country as only she as an individual can.
  • An atheist’s can love beautiful art, music, and poetry.
  • This is because Our Creator has made him so!

I for one believe there is not a god but The God for you to love. And that there is only one real God that does love you and all mankind, David humans are not the only ones capable to have tender loving emotions for other humans. God gave us His Son to redeem us from our sins, that to me is "Real Godly Love" that makes real sense to me.

  • I do believe you and I will Answer to God for the life we live in this flesh.
  • I do believe that this is not all there is to life, and that there is also life after death.
  • I do not believe in storing up riches here on earth but in heaven.
  • I do pray for you and all of my love ones to have a full rich life in our Lord and one day seeing you David and all of my love ones in heaven with me.

God has said to Man,

  • "Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding."

Job 28:28

--------------------------------

Into the life of the First man and the First woman

This beautiful earth and all that is in it was given to man not only to live and multiply but also to give our Lord the glory for all of His handy work, to give Him the praise and honor that He so richly deserves from us.

God created living things

Man –Woman – fish –Birds – Creeping Things, none came on their own

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness" - - - -

  • God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created man; male and female He created them. (Three times God stated that He created man, do you think the Creator God is trying to tell us "He created man and woman?")
  • God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;
  • God gave man to have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.
  • God said, See, I have given you (Adam) every herb that yields seed, which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. (To Adam was given every herb that yielded seed, every fruit tree that yielded seed, for food!

(When you think of Adam in theses verses, remember we are Adam’s off-springs, God did not do all this just for Adam himself, but also for future generations were given every herb that yielded seed, every fruit tree that yielded seed, for food!)

Two of the Godhead mentioned in the book of Genesis

  • The statement let Us = that is more than one*
  • Create man in Our image = we are not told about the image
  • According to Our likeness = we are not told about the likeness

*In Genesis the first chapter where the two of the Godhead are mentioned – "God and the Spirit of God."

Man and woman are Triune Beings

  • Man and woman both with body, soul and spirittriune beings – three in one!
  • The soul and the spirit that are in the body can not be see with the human eye.
  • The body of every man and woman is fearfully and wonderfully made.
  • The soul we are given controls our bodies and our soul is accountable to God.
  • The spirit gives us our feelings, good or bad, happy or sad, our spirit is our main line of communication with our heavenly Father, with each person we meet along this path of life and through which the Holy Spirit can reach out to each of us.

Man became a living soul

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7

  • The body of man was formed from the dust of the earth
  • The breath of life was given to man’s body by the Lord God
  • The soul within the body became a living part of man
  • The spirit of man is his expression both to God and man

The body of man can not sin, it is the soul of man that sins! The soul that sins, it shall die! - - - -

God holds the soul of man accountable for man’s actions done in the body.

We are not our own we all belong to God

  • Know that the Lord, He is God; "It is he who has made us, and not we ourselves"; - - - -. Psalm 100:3
  • - - - - "And God who holds your breath in His hand and owns all your ways,

You have not glorified." Daniel 5:23

  • "The Spirit of God made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life."

Job 33:4

  • Thus says the Lord God to these bones: "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you,

And you shall live." Ezekiel 37:5

  • "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." Psalm 150:6

--------------------------------------------------------

Put breath in you – you shall live – you shall know I am the Lord

When I was a lad about nine years of age, the older boys use to tease me by calling me; "A bag of bones", or "You are nothing but a dirt bag!" Yesterday these sayings came to me and I thought about them. My body is a bag of bones – and my whole body is a dirt bag – Dust thou art and dust shall thou return. I haven’t hear those terms used today, but both are still true. You may have read in the Book of Ezekiel about the Valley of Dry Bones, if not, here it is:

Can theses Bones Live? Hear the Word of the Lord!

  • The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord,

And set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.

  • Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, they were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.
  • And He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" So I answered, "O Lord God, You know."
  • Again He said to me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, "O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! Ezekiel 37:1-4

I will cause breath to enter you – You shall live!

  • Thus says the Lord to these bones; "Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live.

To the Bones – sinews – flesh – skin on you – breath in you – shall live

  • I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord. Ezekiel 37:5-6

Noise – rattling – bones came together – bone to bone

  • So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone.

Sinews and flesh came upon them – skin covered them - but no breath in them

  • Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them. Ezekiel 37:7-8

Thus says the Lord God - four winds – breathe on the slain – that they may live

  • Then He said to me, Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, "thus says the Lord God : "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live." Ezekiel 37:9

Breath entered into the bones– They Lived – Stood upon their feet – Great army

  • So I Prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army. Ezekiel 37:10

"These Bones are the whole house of Israel!"

Israel said : "Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!"

The Lord God replied: "Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to

Come up from your graves and bring you into the land of Israel.

"Then you shall know that I am the Lord,

When I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves."

I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land.

Then you shall know that I, the Lord,

Have spoken it and performed it, "Says the Lord." Ezekiel 37:11-14

Why did I give you this? So you will not have any remaining doubts in your mind about what our Lord can do. Remember how the Creator breathed into Adams nostrils the breath of life and Adam became a living soul! And that He took a bone (Rib) from Adam to created Eve and she became a living soul!

Did you notice too the sequence that took place in this forming together of the bones, first sinews, then flesh, then skin, but no breath, without breath they were not living! "God breathe into the nostrils of the bodies that it might live."

Don’t wait for death in the flesh to come

It will be to late! Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ today!

  • And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks, of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! Revelation 6:15-16

---------------------------------------------

What is man that You (God) are mindful of him?

With out the Lord man is nothing; it is the Lord that aloud man to become a living soul! The food we eat, the water we drink, the very air we are breathing, the very sunshine we are able to see, the beauty of creation we see all around us every day, all this came from the Lord.

The wife of our youth are from the Lord, the children we have are from the Lord, our grandchildren are all from the Lord, could you not believe this and be just a little bit thankful to our Lord?

  • OH, that man would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Psalm 107:31
  • "Come now, let us reason together," Says the Lord, though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shell be as wool. Isaiah 1:18

Man should not be alone

And the Lord God said, "It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him." Genesis 2:18

  • Not good that man should be alone – our Lord is already looking out for man!
  • I will make him a helper – a companion – another living soul!

Comparable to him – in every way- thought – word – deed- ALIVE, not a woman that will become alive ions of years from now through evaluation!

  • The Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and as he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then with the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to man. Genesis 2:21-22

Do I believe that God did this? Yes, I do.

  • Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. Genesis 3:20

I do believe that Eve was and is a very important person of Adams life. Adam is to be joined to his wife and the two are to become one flesh. Eve is the child bearer for the two, the one God has made able to bring forth children, Adam is not to be the bearer of children, although some men today think that they should become children bearers. "Remember - The Seed of the woman will bruise the serpents head." Genesis 3:15

The family union is started

God blessed Adam and Eve

  • God blessed them, and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth - - - -

Genesis 1:28

Marriage Institution by God

  • A man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. Genesis 2:24

Some people don’t believe in marriage, because they found out there will be to much giving of themselves! Today with some people it is easer to throw out the baby, the man, the woman, destroy them one way or another, than to marry and make a go of it! Read Romans 1:18-32

The first male child on earth is born to Eve

  • Adam (red earth) knew Eve (Life) his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain (spear), and said, "I have gotten a man (child) from the Lord." Eve bore again, this time his brother Abel (breath). - - - - Genesis 4:1-2

From Eve will come the promise seed, the Son of God! Cain was a tiller of the ground and Abel was a keeper of sheep.

A third male child is born to Eve

  • Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth (appointed),

"For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed."

(Cain had a son and he named him Enoch (dedicated).

  • And for Seth, to him also a son was born: and he named him Enosh (mortal).

Then men began to call on the name of the Lord. Genesis 4:25-26

The promise seed through Abel is killed, God gave Eve another male child named Seth through whom the promise seed would come! You can see Satan at work here. We are not told the occupation of Seth.

What I would like you to notice is that from Adam and Eve came seeds after their kind!

The creation of Adam and Eve by God was not finished until they produced seeds after their own kind! Husband, wife, children!

The genealogy of Adam – Mankind - Gods Off-springs

The fifth chapter of Genesis, verses one through thirty-two gives us the genealogy of Adam.

  • In the day that God created man (the name Adam is not used),

He made him in the likeness of God.

He created them male and female and blessed them

And called them Mankind in the day they were created. Genesis 5:1-2

God created man

God created man in His image and likeness

God created both male and female

God blessed them

God called them Mankind (from them would come more of their kind)

  • And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on the face of the earth,

And has determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation.

Acts 17:26

God has made from one blood

Every nation of men

To dwell on the face of the earth

Has determined their pre-appointed times

The boundaries of their habitation

  • Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked,

But now commands all men everywhere to repent,

Because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world

In righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained.

He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead. Acts 17:31

These times of ignorance God overlooked

But now commands all men everywhere to repent

He has appointed a day

Which He will judge the world in righteousness

By the man He has appointed

Whom He has ordained

He has given assurance of this to all

By raising Him from the dead

We are all descendents of Adam. It would have been great if nothing had spoiled our Lord’s plan for mankind.

As mankind multiply on this earth so did sin, ungodly sin!

The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth,

And that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Genesis 6:5

The Glory of Man – Crowned with glory and honor

What is man that You are mindful of him,

Or the son of man that You take care of him?

You made him a little lower than the angels;

You crowned him with glory and honor,

And set him over the works of Your hands.

You have put all things in subjection under his feet. Hebrews 2:6-8

Lost in Sin – Man fell short of the Glory of God because of sin

But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed,

Being witnesses by the Law and the Prophets,

Even the righteousness of God which is through faith in Jesus Christ

To all and on all who believe.

For there is no difference; For all have sinned and fall short the glory of God,

Romans 3:21-23

Mans flesh is as grass – The glory of man short lived

All flesh is as grass,

And all the glory of man as the flower of the grass.

The grass withers,

And its flower falls away,

But the word of the Lord endures forever. 1 Peter 1:24-25

The redemption of mans soul is costly

Those who trust in their wealth and boast in the multitude of their riches,

None of them can by any means redeem his brother,

Nor give to God a ransom for him -

For the redemption of their souls is costly,

And it shall cease (live) forever –

That he should continue to live eternally,

And not see the Pit. Psalms 49:6-9

The redemption price for mankind is paid

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Whom God set forth to be a propitiation by His blood,

Through faith,

To demonstrate His righteousness,

Because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously Committed,

To demonstrate at the present time His righteousness,

That He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:23-26

THE TEMPTATION – THE FALL OF MANKIND

When The Lord God blessed man He also gave man a warning!

  • The Lord God blessed man and told him to be fruitful and multiply, populate the earth.

To subdue the earth, the earth is to yield itself to man,

He was to tend and keep the garden.

Man was given dominion over the fish, birds, and every living thing that has life in it.

Every tree whose fruit yields seed to you shall be for food. Genesis 1:28-30

  • The Lord God commanded the man, saying;

"Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

"But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, (penalty of death)

For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." Genesis 2:15-17

The Lord God said death would take place in the day the fruit was eaten from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

The temptation of Man (Eve is deceived)

The serpent and the woman Eve

  • The serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field, which the Lord God made.

The serpent was upright in stature – (we are not told what the serpent was)

The serpent was able to talk and reason with Eve

Eve was like-wise able to talk and reason with the serpent

Eve was innocent at this time in the conversation

They talked about was the fruit trees of the garden (Lust of the eye)

The serpent used his cunningness on Eve

The serpent took advantage by deceiving Eve

  • The serpent; "Has God indeed said;" (Ridiculing God)

"You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

  • Eve; We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden

But of the fruit of the tree (She did not name the tree of knowledge of good and evil)

Which is in the midst of the garden, God has said. You

Shall not eat, nor shall you touch it, lest you die."

(Eve; "Added nor shall you touch it")

  • The serpent said to the woman, "You shall not surely die;" (Pride of life)

"For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened"

"You will be like God, knowing good and evil" (Lust of the flesh)

Genesis 3:1-5

The eyes of Adam and Eve are opened (The fall of man, disobeying God)

  • So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,

That it was pleasant to the eyes,

And a tree desirable to make one wise,

She took of its fruit and ate.

She also gave it to her husband with her, and he ate

The eyes of both were opened

They knew they were naked

They sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings Genesis 3:6-7

Adam and Eve try to hide themselves from God (Sin made them afraid of God)

  • They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day,

Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the

Trees of the garden. Genesis 3:8

"Sin has affected Adam and Eve’s soul with fear, uneasiness, and they hid themselves."

God calls to Adam (God is not afraid of man with his sinful nature)

  • Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, "Where are you?"

Genesis 3:9

Adam hears God and is afraid (Sin makes man afraid to face God)

  • Adam said; "I heard your voice in the garden,

I was afraid because I was naked;

I hid myself." Genesis 3:10

"Adam’s ear heard the voice of the Lord, his inner spirit became afraid

His soul reacted to his nakedness."

We now have an understanding of Adam’s body, soul and spirit!

Direct questions are put to Adam (Nakedness was not sinful, disobeying God was)

  • The Lord God said to Adam "Who told you that you were naked?

Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not

Eat?" Genesis 3:11

Adam blames Eve and confesses (Don’t blame someone else for sinning)

  • Adam said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, (blames God)

She gave me of the tree, (blames Eve)

I did eat." (Adam confesses) Genesis 3:12

"Adam’s soul reacts and blames God, and Eve, his spirit confesses; I did eat."

Eve blames the serpent and confesses (Satan didn’t make Eve sin)

  • The Lord God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"

The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." Genesis 3:13

"The soul of Eve blames Satan and her spirit confesses’ I did eat!"

"Our Lord has allowed us to see the fallen (sin condition) state of Adam and Eve."

GOD PASSES JUDGEMENT ON THE SERPENT, WOMAN AND THE MAN,

THE PROMISE FROM GOD

To the serpent; (The curse – The Promise from God)

  • "Because you have done this,

You are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field;

On your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman,

And between your seed and her Seed;

He shall bruise your head,

And you shall bruise His heel." Genesis 3:14-15

To the serpent – Judgment is passed/ The Promise from God

The serpent is cursed because it was the tool that caused mankind to fall.

There will be enmity (hostility) between Satan and the woman,

And enmity between Satan’s seed and the woman’s Seed.

He* (The woman’s seed) shall bruise your (Satan’s) head.

And you (Satan) shall bruise His* heel.

The serpent is cursed

Enmity between Satan and the woman

Enmity between the seed of Satan and the seed of the woman

The seed of the woman to bruise Satan’s head

Satan is to bruise the male heel of the woman’s seed.

*This is the first prophecy of the coming of the Messiah!

*This is the prophecy that from the seed of the woman He would come!

*We can for-see the battle that is to come between the two, Satan Seed & the Promise

Seed of the Woman!

To EVE

  • I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;

In pain you shall bring forth children;

Your desire shall be for your husband,

And he shall rule over you." Genesis 3:16

To the woman – Judgment is passed

Woman’s sorrow and conception to be multiply

Woman to be in pain bearing forth children

Woman’s desire for her husband

Woman’s husband to rule over her

  • Wives, submit to your husbands, as to the Lord.

For the husband is the head of the wife, as also Christ is the head of the church;

And He is the Savior of the body. Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ,

So let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. Ephesians 5:22-24

  • Wives submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Colossians 3:18
  • Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Honor your father and mother, which is the first commandment with promise:

That it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth. Ephesians 6:1-4

"I do believe when a wife will submit to their husband, as to the Lord, she will receive from her husband; - LoveHonor – Respect - in return for her submission."

  • Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her,

And likewise also the wife to her husband. 1 Corinthians 7:3

  • Likewise you wives, be submissive to your own husband,

That even if some do not obey the word,

They, without the word, may be won by the conduct of the wives,

When they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear.

Do not let your beauty be that outward adorning of arranging the hair,

Of wearing gold, or of putting on fine apparel;

But let it be the hidden person of the heart,

With the incorruptible ornament of a gentle and quite spirit,

Which is very precious in the sight of God. I Peter 3:1-4

  • The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior,

Not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things –

That they admonish the young women to love their husbands,

To love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good,

Obedient to their own husbands. Titus 2:3-4

  • He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor from the Lord.

Proverbs 18:22

  • Houses and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord. Proverbs 19:14
  • Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life,

Which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity;

For that is your portion in life, and in the labor, which you perform under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 9:9

  • Yet you say, "For what reason?"

Because the Lord has been witness between you and the wife of your youth,

With whom you have dealt treacherously;

Yet, she is your companion and your wife by covenant (marriage). Malachi 2:14

To Adam

  • Because you have heeded to the voice of your wife,

Have eaten from the tree

Which I commanded you saying, "You shall not eat of it;

Cursed is the ground for your sake;

In toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.

Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you,

And you shall eat the herb of the field.

In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground,

For out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.

Genesis 3:17-19

To the Man – judgment is passed

The ground is cursed it will bring forth thorns and thistles.

Man is to eat the herb of the field for food.

Man will now sweat when he works.

Man is to work for his bread*

Physical death is to overtake Man,

His flesh will decay,

He returns to the dust of the earth.

The ground (earth) is cursed for man – man is to work for his food throughout his life, man’s work (labor) with the ground (on the earth) will bring forth thorns and thistles (long hours of labor)– man will work hard (sweat on his face) for the bread he is to eat – till he returns to earth – he was taken out of earth – dust he is – dust he shall return.

Husbands love your wives

  • Husbands love your wives,

Just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it,

That He might sanctify it to Himself a glorious church,

That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

That He might present it to himself a glorious church,

Not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing,

But that it should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:25-27

Husbands love your wives as their own bodies

  • So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies,

He who loves his wife loves himself.

For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it,

Just as the Lord does the church. Ephesians 5:28-29

Man to leave father and mother – joined to his wife – two/one flesh

  • For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.

For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother

And be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.

This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:30-32

Husband love wife as himself – wife respect husband

  • Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself,

And let the wife see that she respects her husband. Ephesians 5:33

Fathers not to provoke children – bring them up – training/admonition of the Lord

  • And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath,

But bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

Husbands - love wives – Husbands do not be bitter with wives

  • Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them. Colossians 3:19

Children - obey parents – Very pleasing to the Lord

  • Children, obey your parents in all things,

For this is well pleasing to the Lord. Colossians 3:20

Fathers - don’t provoke your children – don’t discourage them

  • Fathers, do not provoke your children,

Lest they become discouraged. Colossians 3:21

Young men to be sober minded

  • Likewise the young men to be sober-minded,

In all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works;

In doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility,

Sound speech that cannot be condemned,

That one who is an opponent may be ashamed,

Having nothing evil to say of you. Titus 2:6-8

Husbands dwell with your wives with understanding

  • Likewise you husbands, dwell with them with understanding,

Giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel,

And as being heirs together of the grace of life,

That your prayers may not be hindered. 1 Peter 3:7

If anyone will not work – neither shall he eat

  • *We (Paul & Timothy) did not eat anyone’s bread free of charge,

But worked with Labor and toil night and day,

That we might not be a burden to any of you. 2 Thessalonians 3:8

  • *When we (Paul & Timothy) were with you, we commanded you this:

"If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10

Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church

  • Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter towards them Colossians 3:19
  • Husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is the head of the church - - -

Ephesians 5:23

  • Husbands love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave

Himself for it. Ephesians 5:25

  • Husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies - - - -

Ephesians 5:28

Eve the mother of all living

  • Adam called his wife Eve, because she is the mother of all living! Genesis 3:20

Adam and Eve failed the simple test that God gave them

"The lust of the fleshthe lust of the eye – and the pride of life"

" Man today is still failing this same test"

Gods answer to the lust of the flesh

  • Man shall not live by bread alone,

But by every word that proceeds from the Mouth of God.

Matthew 4:4 (Man should live by the Word of God)

Gods answer to the lust of the eye

  • You (Satan) shall not tempt the Lord your God. Matthew 4:7

(Man should not let Satan tempt them with things.)

Gods answer to the pride of life

  • You (Satan) shall worship the Lord your God,

And Him only you shall serve. Matthew 4:10

(Man should worship and only serve the Lord)

.

A thought here; "Is the Lord your God or is Satan your god with all he has to offer?"

A Rap-up:

Because of Adams disobedience to God,

All of mankind is plunged into a state of sin and corruption

Adam and Eve have lost their innocence

Adam and Eve have the knowledge of good and evil

Because of their unbelief and rebellion,

Adam and Eve were driven from the garden

Adam and Eve are separated from God,

Not allowed to eat from the tree of life and live forever

Cherubim are place east of the garden,

A flaming sword to guard the way to the tree of life

Satan is judge and condemned

We were given the prophecy of the coming Messiah / Salvation for all mankind

Death was appointed to the human race

Generations after generations will live and die

Woman is to have pain in childbirth

The wife desire is to be for her husband

The wife is made subject to her husband

For Man the ground is cursed – he will labor all his life – He will perspire

For Man the ground will bring forth thorns and thistles

Man will labor through-out his life, he will perspire when he works

Mans body will die, because of sin and return to the earth

As dust from which it came

Man was driven from the presents of God / Man died a spiritual death at this time

Life in mankind is to go on!

The Lord God clothed Adam and Eve

  • Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them

Genesis 3:21

Adam and Eve must leave the garden of Eden

Then the Lord God said,

  • "Behold, the man has become like one of us, to know good and evil.

And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life,

And eat, and live forever"

Therefore the Lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden

To till the ground from where he was taken. Genesis 3:22-23

This is spiritual death

They were driven from the present of God

Because of sin that had entered into their lives,

The Fellowship they had with God has been cut off!

God hates sin!

  • So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden,

And a flaming sword which turned every way,

To guard the way to the tree of life. Genesis 3:24

Because of sin Death to the flesh came to ALL LIVING FLESH not just man

Most people think Adam’s penalty for eating the forbidden fruit was too server! - - - -

You must remember the Lord God commanded Adam

Not to eat the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil

That if he did eat he would die! (separation from God)

Death to all flesh because of sin, merciful God, or live forever in sin

Man is not the only living flesh that will live and die, all living creatures, land bearing and sea bearing will live and die, all seed bearing birds will live and die, the fruit trees will live and die, the herbs of the field will live and die.

A death (body /soul) that is far worse, in the Lake of Fire!

  • Behold, all souls are Mine - - - - The soul who sins shall die. Ezekiel 18:4; 18
  • For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

OUR LORDS LOVE FOR ALL MANKIND

I must take you into the book of Romans and into the book of 1 Corinthians

Through One Man Sin Entered The World

  • Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world,

And death through sin,

And thus death spread to all men,

Because all sinned. Romans 5:12

Through One Man Offense – Judgment came to all men

  • Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men,

Resulting in condemnation,

Even so through one man’s righteous act (death on the cross) came to all men,

Resulting in justification of life. Romans 5:18

BY One Mans disobedience – Many were made sinners

So also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19

Through one man’s (Adam) offense judgment came to all men

By one man’s (Adam) disobedience many were made sinners

Through one man’s (Jesus Christ) righteous act came to all men

By one man’s (Jesus Christ) obedience many will be made righteous

By One Man Came Death – By One Man Came The Resurrection

  • For since by one man came death,

By man (Christ) also the resurrection of the dead.

In Adam All Die – In Christ All Shall Be Made Alive

  • For as in Adam all die,

Even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 1 Corinthians 15:21-22

From whose face the earth and heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened.

And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.

And the dead were judged according to their works,

By the things which were written in the books. Revelation 20:11&12

  • The sea gave up the dead who were in it,

And Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them.

And they were judged, each one according to his works.

Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire.

This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life

Was cast into the lake of fire. Revelation 20:13-15

This is how it is

God created one man, God created one woman,

All humans (Adam-ites) come from Adam, Eve came from Adam,

Eve is the mother of all humans we are all descendants of Adam

We have been scattered all over the earth

  • And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, And determined their pre-appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation. Acts 17:26
  • Now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law,

That every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight,

For by the law is the knowledge of sin. Romans 3:19-20

We are all sinners

  • Therefore just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin,

And thus death spread to all men, because all sinned - - - - Romans 5:12

We are all subject to condemnation

  • Therefore as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men,

Resulting in condemnation,

Even so through one man’ righteous act the free gift came to all men,

Resulting in justification of life. Romans 5:18

We were made sinners – We will be made righteous

  • For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners,

So also by one man’s obedience many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19

Sin reigned in death – Grace to reign through righteousness to eternal life

  • So that as sin reigned in death,

Even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:21

We are all in need of salvation.

  • God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,

But that the World through Him might be saved.

He who believes in Him is not condemned,

But he does not believe is condemned already,

Because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 3:16 - 18

Paul gave this sermon in Athens on Mars’ Hill (Acts 17)

Please read it carefully!

  • God, who made the world and everything in it,

Since He is Lord of heaven and earth,

Does not dwell in temples made with hands.

  • Nor is He worshipped with man’s hands,

As through He needed anything,

Since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.

  • And He has made from one blood

To Every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth,

And has determined their pre-appointed times

And the boundaries of their habitation,

  • So that they should seek the Lord,

In hope that they might grope for Him and find Him,

Though He is not far from each one of us;

  • For in Him we live and move and have our being,

As also some of your own poets have said,

"For we are also His offspring."

  • "Therefore, since we are the offspring of God,

We ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone,

Something shaped by art and man’s devising.

  • "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked,

But now commands all men everywhere to repent,

  • Because He has appointed a day

On which He will judge the world in righteousness

By the Man whom He has ordained.

He has given assurance of this to all

By raising Him from the dead." Acts 17:24-31

This is how the Lord God sees all of US in our sinful condition

There is none righteous, no, not one;

There is none who understands;

There is none who seek after God.

They have all gone out of the way;

They have together become unprofitable;

There is none who does good, no, not one.

Their throat is an open tomb;

The poison of asps is under his lips;

Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.

Their feet are swift to shed blood;

Destruction and misery are in their ways;

And the way of peace they have not known.

There is no fear of God before their eyes. Romans 3:10-18

A man WILL look to his maker / His eyes WILL have respect for the Holy One

In that day a man will look to his maker,

And his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel.

He will not look to the alters,

The work of his hands;

He will not respect what his fingers have made,

Nor the wooden images nor the incense alters. Isaiah 17:7-8

God gave His only begotten Son for us to cover our sins

"For God so loved the world (Mankind)

That He gave His only begotten Son,

That whosoever believes in Him

Should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16

Man who is born of a woman

Is of few days and full of trouble.

He comes forth like a flower and fades away;

He flees like a shadow and does not continue.

And do You open Your eyes on such a one,

And bring me to judgment with Yourself?

Who can bring a clean thing out of unclean? No one!

Since his days are determined,

The number of his months is with You;

You have appointed his limits, so that he cannot pass.

Look away from him that he might rest,

Till like a hired man he finishes his day. Job 14:1-6

Teach us to number our days (Psalm 90)

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.

Before the mountains were brought forth,

Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,

Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

You turn man to destruction,

And say, "Return, O children of men."

For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past,

And like a watch in the night.

You carry them away like a flood; they are like a sleep.

In the morning they are like grass which grows up;

In the morning it flourishes and grows up;

In the evening it is cut down and withers.

For we have been consumed by Your anger,

And by Your wrath we are terrified.

You have set our iniquities before You,

Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.

For all our days have passed away in Your wrath;

WE finish our days like a sigh.

The days of our lives are seventy years;

And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,

Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;

For it (life) is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Who knows the power of Your anger?

For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.

So teach us to number our days,

That we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:1-12

Remember how short our time is

For what futility have You created all the children of men?

What man can live and not see death?

Can he deliver his life from the power of the grave? Psalm 89:47-48

SPIRIT of LIFE

THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVES LIFE TO THE SPIRIT OF MAN

The spirit and soul within Man

Most people don’t realize that there is more to the human body then the brain, the heart, the lunges, the liver, and all those other components of the body. We know that God had to breath into the lunges of the body for man to become a living soul. Did you catch what I said or did you read through it to fast to observe the statement? "A Living Soul!" Can you tell me where our spirit and our soul are in the Body? Well neither can I, but to each of us God has given a spirit and a soul. The spirit allows us to express ourselves to others, all our feelings are rapped up in our spirit. The soul controls the action of the body and God holds our soul accountable to Him; "The soul that sins it shall die!" Did you ever think that your spirit and soul was so important to God? Most people just think of the body as: O Well, the body will take care of itself and just go along in life. To some degree this is true but we are to take care of our bodies just the same.

So what have we learned so far - - - - -

"God gave us a body in its entirety".

"God gave us a soul to identify each of us".

"God gave us a spirit within to have fellowship with Him and with each other".

We are each a triune living being, three-in-one uniqueness. All three the body, soul and spirit are very important to us and to our Lord. No other living being has this oneness that we humans have. We know the mission of our bodies well enough, I will cover the soul later in the study of eternal life, and in this part of the letter I will go into the subject of our spirit that is in each of us.

The spirit of a man will sustain him in sickness, but who can bear a broken spirit. Proverbs 18:14

We need to know more about the spirit of man that is in him.

THE SPIRIT OF MAN

  • The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his (man’s) heart. Proverbs 20:27

We all know what a lamp is, something that gives out light. Our Lord uses the spirit of man, as a lamp, to search all the inner depths of a man’s heart. Do you think there is any area of our heart that God is unable to look into? I don’t think so either, especially when God does the searching, and is using our own spirit to do the searching!

Why does God use the spirit of man to search out man’s heart?

Because out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks

  • A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good;

An evil man out of evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil.

For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks. Luke 6:45

  • Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good things?

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things,

An evil man out of the evil treasure (of his heart) brings forth evil things.

Matthew 12:34-35

  • "But I (the Lord) say to you that for every idle word men may speak,

They will give account of it, in the day of judgment".

"For by your words you will be justified,

And by your words you will be condemned". Matthew 12:36-37

As a young (early twenty) Christian in the Lord, these verses in Luke and Matthew spoke to my heart, I wanted good things to come out of my heart. Did my heart change?

Yes it did! Did my attitude towards other people change?

I found I was becoming a different person in many ways.

My love towards our Lord,

My love towards my fellow Christians,

My love towards my fellow man,

I wanted to grow more in our Lord every day.

A good man or an evil man, both speak out of the abundance of their hearts, one for good the other for evil!

If I regard iniquity in my heart

  • If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear. Psalm 66:18

Wouldn’t you want a sound heart? It’s life to your body

  • A sound heart is life to the body - - - - Proverbs 14:30

Wouldn’t you want wisdom to rest quietly in your heart?

  • Wisdom rest quietly in the heart of him who has understanding - Proverbs 14:33

What the bible has told us about the inner spirit of man

The following verses are from the books of Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Psalms, and Job on the spirit of man most by Solomon the son of David, king of Israel.

As you read through these verses try to understand that your spirit in you can be in any one of these same spiritual conditions at any time in your life.

Can you picture yourself as having a haughty spirit? - A humble spirit? - A broken spirit? - A calm spirit? - An unruly spirit? - No control over your spirit? – A patient spirit? – A proud spirit? – An angry spirit? – A steadfast spirit? – Sure you can! I know I can.

Could you with your spirit in any of these conditions rejoice in God your Savior? Sure you can, shell I name some of them for you? A humble – broken - calm – patient – steadfast spirit!

I want to open up to you:

About your spirit which is within you,

Your spirit can reach out to the Holy Spirit,

The Holy Spirit can reach your spirit,

The Holy Spirit can show our spirit sin in our lives,

The Holy Spirit can show our spirit the righteousness of God,

The Holy Spirit can show our spirit the judgment of God,

By which He will judge the world,

The Holy Spirit can renew our spirit that is within us.

ALIVE TO GOD

When the Holy Spirit makes our spirit alive to God the Father,

Into this LIFE that is in His Son the Lord Jesus Christ,

Not only does He help our spirit to understand but also to believe,

"That our Lord gave His life to redeem all of us from our sins!"

"So everyone of us can be acceptable in the BELOVE-IT!"

The following verses will give us an insight into the spirit of man

Remember this is the spirit that we all have within our bodies and at times we do allow these conditions to take place in our lives. As we read through these verses think of the lessons we are learning about our spirit and what does or will be the results of how we act in any situation. Great lessons will be learned!

The spirit in a queen that is willing to give in

When the queen of Sheba had seen all the wisdom of Solomon

  • The house that he had built, - - - his servants - - - his waters - - - his cupbearers - - - his entryway - - - there was no more spirit in her. 1 Kings 10:5

The spirit of man with no guile

  • Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Psalm 32:2

The contrite spirit in man

  • The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit. Psalm 34:18

The steadfast spirit in man

  • Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Psalm 51:10

Wisdom given to the spirit of man to minister to/for God

  • So you shall speak to all who are gifted artisans,
  • Whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom,
  • That they may make Aaron’s garments, to sanctify him,
  • That he may minister to Me as priest. Exodus 28:3

The willing spirit in man

  • Then everyone came whose heart was stirred,
  • And everyone whose spirit was willing,
  • And they brought the Lord’s offering for the work on the tabernacle of meeting,
  • For all its service, and for the holy garments. Exodus 35:21

From the book of Job

The spirit in man that speaks in anguish and soul in bitterness

Those under the waters and those inhabiting them,

He drew a circular horizon on the face of the waters, at the boundary of light and darkness.

The pillars of heaven tremble, and are astonished at His reproof.

He stirs up the sea with His power, and by His understanding He breaks up the storm.

Then her spirit, returned, and she arose immediately.

And He commanded that she be given something to eat. Luke 8:54-55

PAUL did mighty signs and wonders by the power of the Spirit of God

THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST

KNOWING the spirit of TRUTH from the spirit of ERROR1 John 4)

  • ----- Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God. 1 John 4:2
  • ----- Every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist. -----1 John 4:3
  • You are of God, little children, and have over come them (those that have the spirit of the Antichrist), because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
  • They are of the world, therefore they speak as of the world, and the world hears them.

1 John 4:5

  • We are of God. He who knows God hears us; He who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error 1 John 4:6
  • Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 1 John 4:7
  • He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. 1 John 4:8

ETERNAL LIFE - THE GIFT OF GOD

Sin reigned in death – Grace reigned through righteousness – Eternal Life, Jesus Christ

  • Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound.

But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,

So that as sin reigned in death,

Even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life

Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 5:20-21

  • For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life

In Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

  • But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith,

Praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God,

Looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. Jude 20-21

  • In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth,

The gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed,

You were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,

Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession,

To the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:13-14

  • For by grace you have been saved through faith,

And that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God,

Not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

Peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5)

  • Therefore, having been justified by faith,

We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Through whom also we access by faith into this grace in which we stand,

And rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2

The free gift – the gift by grace – the gift of righteousness

  • But the free gift is not like the offense.

For if by the one man’s offense many died,

Much more the grace of God

And the gift by grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.

  • And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned.

For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation,

But the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.

  • For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through one,

Much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness

Will reign in life through One, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:15-17

Sin entered the world – Judgment came to all men – Many (all) were made sinners

  • Therefore, just as through one man SIN entered the world, and death through sin,

And thus death spread to all men, because all sinned - - - - Romans 5:12

  • Therefore, as through one man’s OFFENSE judgment came to all men,

Resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s RIGHTEOUS ACT

The free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. Romans 5:18

  • For as by one man’s DISOBEDIENCE many were made sinners,

So also by one Man’s OBEDIENCE many will be made righteous. Romans 5:19

The LIFE OF THE MAN

From the book of Psalm

It is a book that goes into a wide range of human topics in a very real and personnel way -

It is a book of praises to God – A book of songs – Songs that can be played with musical stringed instruments and we are told sometimes the flute – A hymnbook for the Jewish people to sing praises to the God of Israel –

Into the life of Man

Can man live and not see death? – Can man keep his life from the grave? -

How long, Lord? Will You hide Yourself forever? Will Your wrath burn like fire?

Remember how short my time (life) is; For what futility have You created all the children of men? What man can live and not see death? Can he deliver his life from the power of the grave? Selah Psalm 89:46-48

Our lives are like grass – we flourish - we grows up –– we die – we enter the grave -

You turn man to destruction,

And say, "Return O children of men."

For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it is past,

And like a watch in the night.

You carry them away like a flood; they are like a sleep.

In the morning they are like grass which grows up:

In the morning it flourishes and grows up;

In the evening it is cut down and withers. Psalm 90:3-6

For we have been consumed by Your anger,

And by Your wrath we are terrified.

You have set our iniquities before You,

Our secret sins in the light of Your countenance.

For all our days have passed away in Your wrath;

We finish our years like a sigh.

The days of our lives are seventy years;

And if by reason of strength they are eighty years,

Yet their boast is only labor and sorrow;

For it (our life) is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Who knows the power of Your anger?

For as the fear of You, so is Your wrath.

So teach us to number our days,

That we may gain a heart of wisdom. Psalm 90:7-12

TO GOD – sin acknowledged – iniquity not hidden – confessed transgressions – FORGIVENESS

I acknowledged my sin to You, and my iniquity I have not hidden.

I said, "I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,"

And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah Psalm 32:5

A clean heart – a steadfast spirit – the joy of salvation -

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with Your generous Spirit.

Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted to You. Psalm 51:10-13

THE SOUL WITHIN MAN

Sometimes in scriptures the words my soul is interchange with my life (the life) of a person, because the words in most cases is talking about the inner person of the body. The soul of man is like the Hard Drive of our computer, which stores everything we do and say (thought – word – deed) in our lives into the soul of our body. We have heard from some when they were on deaths-doorstep how their hole life would unfold before them in a very short moment of time and very quickly sober them up to their past life in the flesh. As you read the following verses, you will learn how the soul in us does affect our lives in what we do and what we say. Because of sin in our soul, at times our soul is deeply troubled, this is the time we need to turn to the Lord and ask Him for His help. His Word has told us, He is near to hear our call!

The SOUL of the Man

The soul the inner person of the man in which we outsiders do not always see unless the person wants us too. God holds our soul accountable for what we do in our daily lives, good or bad, we will keep our appointment with Him, He has set the date for us.

As we go through these verses on the soul of man, realize we are reviewing our inner person in our bodies. We have much to learn and much to live up too. There is more to us then just this body, inside this body of ours is a spirit and a soul, which makes us a whole person in the eyes of God. By being aware of what we are, helps us to understand why our Creator made us so.

I cried out to God with my voice - - - To God with my voice;

And He gave ear to me. In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord;

My hand was stretched out in the night without ceasing;

My soul refused to be comforted. I remembered God, and was troubled;

I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah Psalm 77:1-3

(He (Almighty God) did not spare their soul (life) from death)

He cast on them the fierceness of His anger, wrath, indignation, and trouble,

And destroyed all the firstborn in Egypt, - - - - Psalm 78:49-51

(Lord - Preserve my life – be merciful to me – rejoice my soul – I lift up my soul)

THE RESURRECTION OF THE DEAD / EVERLASTING LIFE GIVEN BY GOD

  • Behold I show you a mystery:

We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed

In a moment - in the twinkling of an eye - at the last trumpet.

For the trumpet will sound,

And the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption,

And this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible has put on incorruption,

And this mortal has put on immortality,

Then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written:

"Death is swallowed up in victory."

O Death, where is your sting?

O Hades, where is your victory?

The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, Knowing that your labor is not in vain in the lord. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58

EVERLASTING LIFE

He who believes in the Son of God has everlasting life

And has passed from death into life

This is living our Christian life before our fellowman and other Christians. That they may see in us our Lord working with us, through His word and the Holy Spirit, That we have accepted the Son of God as our sin bearer and the Lord of our life. The assurance given by the scriptures that though we may die in this flesh we will be resurrected from the grave to everlasting life (without end). Death no longer has a hold on us we are victors over death and the grave, because of the resurrection from the grave by the Son of God

Matthew (Confess Me before men – I will confess you before My Father)

  • Therefore whoever confesses Me before men,

Him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.

But whoever denies Me before men,

Him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 10:32-33

  • For the Son of man has come to save that which was lost. Matthew 18:11
  • And everyone who left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake,

Shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit everlasting life. Matthews 19:29

  • Heaven and earth will pass away,

But My words will by no means pass away. Matthew 24:35

Luke (No one who has left their own family for God will be forgotten)

  • Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God,

Who shall not receive many times more in this present time,

And in the age to come everlasting life. Luke 18:29-30

John (The Christian life springing up into everlasting life)

  • But as many as received Him,

To them He gave the right to become the children of God,

To those who believe in His name: who were born,

Not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13

  • And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,

Even so must the Son of man be lifted up,

That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son,

That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:14-16

  • He who believes in the Son has everlasting life;

And he who does not believe the Son shall not see life,

But the wrath of God abides on him. John 3:36

  • But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.

But the water I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing

up into everlasting life. John 4:14

  • Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My words

And believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life,

And shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. John 5:24

But for the food which endures to everlasting life,

Which the Son of man will give you,

Because God the Father has set His seal on Him. John 6:27

He who comes to Me shall never hunger,

And he who believes in Me shall never thirst. John 6:35

That everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life;

And I will raise him up at the last day." John 6:40

Not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead.

He who eats this bread will live forever. John 6:58

  • I have come as a light into the world,

That whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.

And if anyone hears My voice and does not believe,

I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.

He who rejects Me, and does not receive My words, has that which judges him - -

The word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.

For I have not spoken on My own authority; but the Father who sent Me gave Me

A command, what I should say and what I should speak.

And I know that His command is everlasting life.

Therefore, whatever I speak, just as the Father has told Me, so I speak.

John 12:46-50

Acts (Do not judge yourself unworthy of everlasting life.)

  • Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said,

It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first;

But since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life,

(Eternal life/Glorified body/Forever with Jesus Christ our Lord)

You have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 6:22-23

(Please notice the two words are used in this verse,

everlasting life and eternal life.

"A life set free – A slave to God - Fruit to holiness – The end - everlasting life."

"The wages of sin is death – The gift of God – eternal life – In Christ Jesus our Lord."

Galatians (What we sow, we will reap!)

  • Do not be deceived, God is not mocked;

For whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.

For he who sows to the flesh will of the flesh reap corruption,

But he who sows to The (Holy) Spirit

Will of the (Holy) Spirit reap everlasting life. Galatians 6:7-8

  • "They shall be Mine," says the Lord of hosts,

"On the day that I make them My jewels."

And I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.

  • Then you shall again discern between the righteous and the wicked,
  • Between one who serves God and one who does not serve Him. Malachi 3:16-18

ETERNAL LIFE AND THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON

TIME without END

And it shall come to pass

That whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Joel 2:32

By which we must be saved)

  • Nor is there salvation in any other,

For there is no other name under heaven given among men

By which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Romans (The righteousness of God – The just and the justifier – On all who

believe)

  • Even the righteousness of God which is through faith in Jesus Christ to all and on all who believe.

For there is no difference; for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

Whom God set forth to be a propitiation by His blood, through faith,

To Demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance

God had passed over the sins that were previously committed,

To demonstrate at the present Time His righteousness,

That He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. Romans 3:22-26

And seeking to establish their own righteousness,

For the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.

"For whoever calls upon the name of the Lord Shall BE SAVED." Romans 10:12-13

Hebrews (He offered himself ONCE for our sins – For our salvation)

  • And according to the law almost all things are purged with blood,

And without shedding of blood there is no remission.

  • Therefore it was necessary

That the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these,

But the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

  • For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands,

Which are copies of the true,

But into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

  • Not the He should offer Himself often,

As the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood of another - -

  • He then would have to suffer often since the foundation of the world;

But now ONCE at the end of the ages,

He has appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

  • And it is appointed for man to die ONCE, but after this the judgment,
  • So Christ was offered ONCE to bear the sins of many.

To those who eagerly wait for Him

He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation. Hebrews 9:22-28

But to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth,

But obey unrighteousness – indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish,

But glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good,

To the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 2:6-10

Storing up for themselves a good foundation for the time to come,

That they may lay hold on eternal life. 1 Timothy 6:18-19

Titus (According to His mercy He saved us – Justified by His grace)

  • Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ,

According to the faith of God’s elect

And the acknowledgment of the truth which is according to godliness,

In hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.

Titus 1:1-2

  • But when the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared,

Not by works of righteousness which we have done,

But according to His mercy He saved us,

Through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,

That having been justified by His grace

We should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Titus 3:4-6

Which was with the Father and was manifested to us –

That you also may have fellowship with us,

And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:1-3

  • Do not marvel, my brethren, if the world hates you.

We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren.

He who does not love his brother abides in death.

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer,

And you know that no murderer has Eternal life abiding in him.

By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.

And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:13-16

  • He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself,

He who does not believe in God has made Him a liar,

Because he has not believed the testimony that God has given of His Son.

WHO ARE THESE IN WHITE ROBES / WHERE DID THEY COME FROM?

(Great number of Gentiles who came through the great tribulation)

  • After these things I looked, and behold,

A great multitude which no one could number,

Of all nations, tribes, people, and tongues, standing before the throne

And before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,

And crying out with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God

Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!

And all the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures,

And fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, Saying: "Amen!

Blessing and glory and wisdom, thanksgiving and honor and power and might,

Be to our God forever and ever. Amen." Revelation 7:9-12

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me,

"Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?"

And I said to him, "Sir, you know."

So he said to me, "These are the ones who came out of the great tribulation,

And washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Therefore they are before the throne of God,

And serve Him day and night in His temple.

And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.

They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore,

The sun shall not strike them, nor any heat,

"For the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them

And lead them to living fountains of waters.

And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Revelation 7:13-17

THE GREAT WHITE THRONE JUDGMENT

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth

and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.

And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and the books were

Opened.

And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.

And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were

Written in the books.

The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the

Dead who were in them. And they were judged each according to his works.

Then Death and Hades were cast into the like of fire. This is the second death.

And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

Revelation 20:11-15

Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new."

And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful."

And He said to me, "It is done!" I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and

The End. I will give of the fountain of waters of life freely to him who thirsts.

He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My

Son. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral,

Sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with

Fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Revelation 21:5-8

THE LAMB OF GOD

(The Lamb presented to Israel by John the Baptist)

Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world! John 1:29

(The Lamb predicted to suffer and die)

He was oppressed and He was afflicted, Yet He opened not His mouth;

He was led as a lamb to the slaughter is silent, so He opened not His mouth.

Isaiah 53:7

(The Lamb of God was cut off from the land of the living)

He was taken from prison and from judgment, and who will declare His

Generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living;

For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. Isaiah 53:8

(The Lamb was Manifested, Justified, Seen, Preached, Believed, Received)

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:

God was manifested in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen by angels,

Preached among the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up in glory.

1 Timothy 3:16

(The Lamb to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, blessing)

And they sang a new song, saying:

You are worthy to take the scroll,

And to open its seals;

For You were slain,

And have redeemed us to God by Your blood

Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,

And have made us kings and priests to our God;

And we shall reign on the earth.

Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living

Creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten

Thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice:

"Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

To receive power and riches and wisdom,

And strength, and honor and glory and blessing!"

And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and

Such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:

"Blessing and honor and glory and power

Be to Him who sits on the throne,

And to the Lamb, forever and ever!"

Then the four living creatures said, "Amen!" And the twenty four elders fell down

And worshiped Him who lives forever and ever. Revelation 5:9-14

("The Lamb, King of the saints,"

" All nation shall come and worship before Him")

And they sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb,

Saying:

"Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty!

Just and true are Your ways,

O King of the saints!

Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name?

For You alone are Holy.

For all nations shall come and worship before You,

For Your judgments have been manifested."

Revelation 15:3-4

GOD DEMONSTRATES HIS OWN LOVE TOWARD US

But God demonstrates His own love toward us,

In that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, having now been justified by His blood,

We will be saved from wrath through Him.

For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son,

Much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

Reconciled = Made friendly to God – Through the death of His Son.

And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

Through whom we have now received the reconciliation. Romans 5:8-11

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes

In Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is

Condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten

Son of God. John 3:18

If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you. Give me a drink, you

Would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water. John 4:10

Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water I

Shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in

Him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life. John 4:13-14

This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent. John 6:29

My Father gives you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives His life to the world. John 6:32-33

I do believe that when Christ died for the sin of all mankind, all of Adams race were

Listed in the Lambs book of life. When any of Adams race rejected the Lord for

Dieing for their sins, their names were blotted out of the Lambs book of life!

Yes, it is a very sobering subject as you can see; "It has to do with you."

"What will you do with the Son of God? Accept what He has done for you?

Or reject what He has done for you? You will be somewhere for all eternity!

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he does not believe is condemned

Already, because he has not believe in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:18

And all who dwell on the earth will worship Him,

Whose names have not been written in the book of life

Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you,

But rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven. Like 10:20

Help these women who labored with me in the gospel,

With Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers,

Whose names are in the book of life. Philippians 4:3

Of just men made perfect (matured in life) - - - - Hebrews 12:23

Then those who feared the Lord spoke one to another,

And the Lord listened and heard them,

So a book of remembrance was written before Him for those who loved the Lord

I watched till the thrones were put in place. And the ancient of days was seated.

His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool.

His throne was a fiery flame. It’s wheel a burning fire.

A fiery stream issued and came forth before Him.

A thousand thousands ministered to Him;

Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.

The court was seated. And the books were open - - - - Daniel 7:9-10

At that time Michael shall stand up.

The great prince who stands watch over the sons of Your people.

And there shall be a time of trouble.

Such as never was since there was a nation.

Even to that time.

And at that time Your people shall be delivered.

Everyone who is found written in the book - - - Daniel 12:1

And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake.

Some to everlasting life. Some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament,

But you Daniel shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end;

Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase. Daniel 12:2-4
